The No-Pension Report
The monthly report on building income when no pension is coming.
Written by Dennis Chirkovsky.
WHO IS WRITING THIS
I have been trading since 2008. I just made my money somewhere else.
I started on NYSE and CME — equities first, then futures, then options, then crypto derivatives. The instruments kept changing; the habit of watching markets did not.
I also published two free courses on futures and crypto futures, taken by thirty-five thousand people. That taught me the thing this publication runs on: most of what makes finance feel difficult is the language, not the arithmetic.
The money came from a different place. From 2004 to 2024 I built and ran a digital agency — over 300 projects, including work for Sony Pictures and Walt Disney. That chapter is closed now, and I am not disowning it. It is also the reason the trading stayed mine: my own capital, my own decisions, nothing sold to anyone.
For fourteen years I was an international judge in equestrian sport. That is where I learned what a career with no employer and no pension actually looks like.
In 2025 I moved into bonds — the boring answer I spent eighteen years not looking for. In 2026 I started publishing.
WHAT YOU GET
One issue a month. Free.
Each one takes a single piece of the problem apart: how the instrument works, what determines whether it pays you, what to look for, and where it breaks.
No recommendations. No securities to buy. No portfolio to copy.
WHAT I DON’T DO
I am not licensed — not in the United States, not anywhere. I do not manage money, I do not accept it, and I do not answer questions about anyone’s individual situation.
I don’t publish my positions either. The moment I do, this stops being education and turns into signals. Signals are exactly what I don’t do.
What I publish is the method. What you do with it is yours.
I also get things wrong, regularly, and you will see it when I do. If you ever catch me listing the things I got right, assume there is a list of equal length I am not showing you.
